7 Days to Die server questions

Something else on your mind? Ask us.

Do players need the mods too?

Mods that only change the game's XML (items, recipes, loot, zombies) work on the server alone. Mods with code, new models or sounds must be installed by every player.

Can I use a random world?

Yes. A generated world takes a few minutes and a lot of memory at its first start, so 6k suits smaller plans better than 10k.

Why did my settings reset after an update?

A big game update can replace the settings file with the new default. Keep a copy of your changes, and Munin can help you put them back.

Where are the servers?

In a data centre in Helsinki, Finland, with DDoS protection. That gives low ping to players across Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark.

How fast is my server ready?

Usually within a few minutes of paying. We email you the address, and the control panel shows when it's online.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Cancel under Billing and the server runs until the end of the period you've paid for. Within 14 days of ordering you can change your mind completely and only pay for the days you used.
