Ask Munin

Munin reads your server's console, logs and files, explains what's going on and proposes the fix. Nothing changes until you press Apply.

How players join

In Minecraft, open Multiplayer, click Add Server and enter the address from your server page. Players need the same Minecraft version, and on a modpack the same modpack, as the server.

Can friends on phones or consoles join?

A Java server is for Minecraft Java Edition on PC and Mac. For Windows, phones and tablets, order a Minecraft: Bedrock Edition server instead.

Which plan do I need?

A Paper server for a group of friends runs well on Starter or Standard. Modpacks need more memory, so each modpack has its own plans, sized for it.

Can I switch modpack later?

Yes, on the server's Version tab. If the new modpack needs more memory and costs more, you only pay the difference for the rest of the period.

Can I bring my own world?

Yes. Stop the server, upload the world folder with the file manager and start it again. Munin can walk you through it.

Where are the servers?

In a data centre in Helsinki, Finland, with DDoS protection. That gives low ping to players across Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark.

How fast is my server ready?

Usually within a few minutes of paying. We email you the address, and the control panel shows when it's online.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Cancel under Billing and the server runs until the end of the period you've paid for. Within 14 days of ordering you can change your mind completely and only pay for the days you used.
