What you get with SCUM

When you order, you choose the server name, the max players, the game mode, the server password and the your steam64 id. The rest you can change once it's running.

  • Choose PvP or PvE, server name, password and max players when you order
  • Your Steam ID is made admin automatically
  • Tune puppets, loot, respawn, vehicles and time of day in the server settings
  • Updates through Steam at every restart

Ask Munin

Munin reads your server's console, logs and files, explains what's going on and proposes the fix. Nothing changes until you press Apply.

How players join

Players find the server in SCUM's server list, or use Direct connect with the address and port from your server page.

Your friend's SteamID64 goes in AdminUsers.ini, for # commands in the chat. SCUM only reads it at start: stop the server, apply, start.

How much memory does SCUM need?

A lot, and more as the world grows: 12–16 GB is often recommended for a full server. Starter suits a few players, Premium a big group.

Can I use mods?

No, SCUM servers don't take mods.

Can I wipe the world?

Yes. Stop the server and delete the world's save file, and SCUM makes a new world at the next start. Munin can do it with you step by step.

Where are the servers?

In a data centre in Helsinki, Finland, with DDoS protection. That gives low ping to players across Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark.

How fast is my server ready?

Usually within a few minutes of paying. We email you the address, and the control panel shows when it's online.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Cancel under Billing and the server runs until the end of the period you've paid for. Within 14 days of ordering you can change your mind completely and only pay for the days you used.
